COMPOSITION:

Each ml contains

Ceftiofur HCl: 50 mg

Solvent and excipients q.s. to: 1 mL

INDICATIONS:

Vinacef – A new-generation broad-spectrum antibiotic. Highly effective in the treatment of respiratory diseases, haemorrhagic septicaemia, and acute pneumonia caused by Pasteurella, Bordetella, Haemophilus, Actinobacillus, and Streptococcus; swine enzootic pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma; Actinobacillus pleuropneumonia (APP); paratyphoid; mastitis; metritis; vaginitis; and retained placenta in buffaloes, cattle, and pigs.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

– Do not use in animals hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

– Do not use in animals suffering from anaemia.

– Do not mix with other products in the same syringe.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:

Shake well before use. Administer once daily for 3 consecutive days.

Pigs (intramuscular injection): 1 ml/10–16 kg body weight/day.

Dairy cows and cattle, buffaloes (intramuscular or subcutaneous injection): 1 ml/50 kg body weight/day.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

For meat: Cattles 8 days; pigs 5 days

STORAGE: Store in a dry place, temperature below 30⁰C, avoid direct light.

SHELF LIFE: 24 months.
