1. OVERVIEW OF THE PRIVACY POLICY

1.1 CENTRAL VETERINARY MEDICINE JOINT STOCK COMPANY I (“VINAVETCO”) understands the importance of and respects the privacy rights of personal information (“Information”) of users who access VINAVETCO’s website and use VINAVETCO’s services (users who access the website and/or purchase products or use VINAVETCO’s services hereinafter referred to as “Customers”); the website, products, and services are collectively referred to as “Services”). Through its good faith, VINAVETCO, with this Privacy Policy (“Policy”), provides an overview to clarify the purposes of collecting information, the scope and methods of information collection, the extent of use, the parties who may access the information, the retention period of information, third-party links and products on the website, the commitment to information security, and the rights and responsibilities of Customers, including contact information and methods outlined in this Policy.

1.2 This Policy applies to all Services of VINAVETCO. However, from time to time, for each specific Service or part of a Service, depending on the nature and requirements of that Service, VINAVETCO may supplement or adjust the contents related to this Policy to apply specifically to those parts of the Service.

1.3 This Policy applies when Customers access the website, use Services on VINAVETCO’s website, and at any time Customers access or use Services provided by VINAVETCO, meaning Customers agree to and are bound by the terms set forth in this Policy (including any supplements or amendments as applicable).

1.4 Depending on actual security needs, VINAVETCO may adjust this Policy without prior notice or consent from Customers. When updating this Policy, VINAVETCO will revise the “Last Updated” date at the end of this Policy. Therefore, before accessing or using VINAVETCO’s Services, Customers should regularly review the Privacy Policy to be aware of the latest updates.

2. PERSONAL INFORMATION PROTECTION POLICY

2.1 PURPOSES OF COLLECTING INFORMATION

VINAVETCO collects Customer Information primarily to support and maintain contact with Customers, including:

  • Maintaining contact with Customers, answering their questions related to VINAVETCO’s Services;
  • Enhancing the quality of VINAVETCO’s Services and/or the Services of VINAVETCO’s affiliated companies (“Affiliated Units”);
  • Establishing customer loyalty programs or other promotional programs;
  • Handling issues related to the use of Services or transactions between VINAVETCO and Customers;
  • Sending invitations, orders, and thank you letters;
  • Notifying Customers of promotional, advertising, or direct marketing information with prior consent from Customers;
  • Informing Customers of job vacancies at VINAVETCO if Customers have registered to receive email notifications;
  • Evaluating and analyzing the market, customers, and VINAVETCO’s Services;
  • Assisting Customers when purchasing products and/or using VINAVETCO’s Services.
  • VINAVETCO collects Information to control and improve the quality of Services such as: a) Controlling access to and use of VINAVETCO’s Services; b) Analyzing and optimizing VINAVETCO’s Services;
  • Other uses allowed by law.

2.2 SCOPE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION

VINAVETCO will collect Customer Information including: a) Full name; b) Phone number; c) Email address. In addition to the above information, if Customers agree, VINAVETCO may collect additional information depending on the Service and VINAVETCO’s information collection needs.

2.3 METHODS OF INFORMATION COLLECTION

To ensure that the collected Information is complete and accurate, VINAVETCO may use one or more of the following methods to collect Customer Information:

  • Requesting Customers to provide Information: VINAVETCO may request Customers to provide Information in cases such as: a) Some VINAVETCO Services allow/request Customers to create an account or personal profile. To use these Services effectively, VINAVETCO may request Customers to provide the Information mentioned in Section 3 above to meet the needs of using the Service. b) If Customers request VINAVETCO to address questions related to VINAVETCO’s Services or if Customers request VINAVETCO to provide Services (e.g., product support), VINAVETCO may ask Customers to provide Information to process their requests quickly and accurately; c) Other cases depending on VINAVETCO’s information collection needs. d) VINAVETCO will always offer the option to decide whether to provide Information. If Customers choose not to provide Information, some Services or transactions may not be available, or some transactions may be conducted under an anonymous (Guest) mode.
  • VINAVETCO’s self-collection of Information: a) Collection from third-party sources: VINAVETCO may receive Information about Customers published publicly on third-party e-commerce websites or from third parties during transactions involving information transfer. b) Collection during Service provision: VINAVETCO may also collect Customer Information through other appropriate methods with the Customer’s consent regarding the method of collection. c) Collection during Customer use of Services.
  • Consolidation of Information: VINAVETCO may consolidate Customer Information collected through various methods mentioned in this section as part of the complete Information for the purposes outlined in this Policy without prior consent from Customers. However, Customers always have the right to adjust their Information as per Section 2.11 of this Policy.

2.4 SCOPE OF USE OF INFORMATION

The collected Customer Information will be used for the purposes stated in Section 2 of this Policy. Additionally, the information will be used within VINAVETCO and/or VINAVETCO’s affiliated units.

2.5 PARTIES WHO MAY ACCESS INFORMATION

  • To achieve the purposes of collecting Information stated in this Policy, VINAVETCO may need support from third parties for data analysis, marketing, and customer service, and/or to provide better Services to Customers. During this support, Customer Information may be disclosed to the following parties:
    • VINAVETCO’s affiliated units when their involvement is necessary to complete the transaction established between VINAVETCO and Customers.
    • Trusted business partners of VINAVETCO, where disclosure and information security responsibilities will be governed by agreements between VINAVETCO and its business partners.
  • To develop business activities or in cases of force majeure, VINAVETCO may need to reorganize, transfer, dissolve, or bankrupt the company. In such cases, the successor or transferee units of VINAVETCO may receive Customer Information to continue providing and implementing Services to Customers.
  • VINAVETCO may disclose Customer Information to third parties or authorities if required by legal authorities or other cases as stipulated by law, or if VINAVETCO has reason to believe that disclosure could protect the rights, property, or safety of Customers or VINAVETCO/VINAVETCO’s affiliated units.
  • Other parties with Customer’s consent or as directed by the Customer.

2.6 RETENTION PERIOD OF INFORMATION

VINAVETCO will only retain Customer Information for the period necessary for the purpose for which the Information was collected.

2.8 MEANS AND TOOLS FOR CUSTOMERS TO ACCESS AND MODIFY THEIR PERSONAL DATA

  • Customers have the right to request the administration to correct their personal information by calling or emailing.
  • Customers have the right to file complaints about the disclosure of their personal information to third parties with the administration. Upon receiving such feedback, VINAVETCO will verify the information, respond with reasons, and guide Customers on how to restore and secure their information.

2.9 THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND PRODUCTS ON THE WEBSITE

  • Some content, advertisements, and features on VINAVETCO’s website may be provided by third parties, whether or not they are affiliated with VINAVETCO. These third parties may collect or receive certain Information about Customers’ use of Services, including through the use of Cookies, Beacons, and similar technologies, and this Information may be collected over time and combined with Information collected from other websites and online services.
  • If Customers connect with social networking services, VINAVETCO may receive and store authentication Information from that service to allow Customers to log in, as well as other Information that Customers permit VINAVETCO to receive when connecting to those services.
  • By accessing and/or using VINAVETCO’s Services, Customers consent to the storage of Cookies, Beacons, and other local storage technologies. Customers also agree to allow access to Cookies, Beacons, and local storage technologies by VINAVETCO and the aforementioned third parties.
  • As mentioned above, VINAVETCO’s Services may include links to third-party websites outside VINAVETCO’s control, and thus VINAVETCO is not responsible for the safety or security of any Information collected by those third parties that is not conducted on or under VINAVETCO’s managed and/or controlled interfaces.
  • VINAVETCO advises Customers to exercise caution and review the privacy practices applicable to third-party websites and services they use.

2.10 COMMITMENT TO INFORMATION SECURITY

  • VINAVETCO is committed to protecting Customer Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, and/or disclosure through reasonable technical and administrative measures.
  • VINAVETCO implements technical measures to protect information such as encryption, firewalls, and other standard methods. In addition, VINAVETCO also applies administrative measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of Customer Information by providing training to employees and setting up policies to manage, protect, and restrict access to Customer Information.

2.11 CUSTOMER RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customers have the following rights and responsibilities:
    • The right to request access, correction, and/or update of their Information. When Customers submit a request for access to or correction of their Information, VINAVETCO will respond and implement the request within a reasonable time frame as stipulated by law.
    • The right to refuse or withdraw consent for VINAVETCO to use their Information as described in this Policy. In such cases, VINAVETCO will discontinue or limit the use of the Information if legally required.
    • Responsibility to provide accurate and complete Information and to promptly update any changes to their Information.
    • Responsibility to notify VINAVETCO in case of loss of personal information to ensure that VINAVETCO can promptly address any issues or breaches.
