COMPOSITION:

Tylvalosin tartrate: 50 mg

Excipient q.s.: 1 g

INDICATIONS:

Tylvalosin is a new-generation antibiotic used to treat respiratory and gastrointestinal disease complexes in pigs and poultry.

– Pigs: Treatment of enzootic pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, ileitis caused by Lawsonia intracellularis, swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae, and colitis caused by Brachyspira pilosicoli. It also supports the treatment of secondary infections associated with porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) and viral diseases.

– Poultry: Indicated for the treatment of chronic respiratory disease caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae and other Mycoplasma species, as well as diseases associated with Clostridium perfringens that cause diarrhea in chickens and turkeys. Tylvalosin is also active against Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale (ORT), which causes respiratory disease complex in poultry.

Contraindications:

Do not use in animals with hypersensitive to any component of the product.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:

Mix with feed at the following dosage:

– Poultry: 1 g/2 kg body weight/day. Administer continuously for 5–7 days.

– Pigs: 1 g/10 kg body weight/day. Administer continuously for 5–7 days.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

For meat: 2 days

STORAGE: Store in a dry, temperature  below 30⁰C, should be protected from direct sunlight.

SHELF LIFE: 24 months
