Certificate No. 15/23/GCN – GMP, signed by the Director of the Department of Animal Health on June 16, 2023, certifies that VINAVETCO’s Betalactam veterinary drug production workshop meets the standards recommended by the World Health Organization, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP – WHO), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP – WHO), and Good Storage Practice (GSP – WHO).

 

After nearly nine months of implementing the project to build the Betalactam production workshop, covering a total area of 650 m², VINAVETCO officially began operating the Betalactam veterinary drug production according to GMP – WHO standards on August 15, 2023. The workshop features three automatic/semi-automatic production lines: the line for powder and granule oral drugs, the line for powder for injection, and the automatic line for injectable suspensions:

• Powdered oral medication with a capacity of 1,000 kg per day
• Powder for injection: 15,000 bottles per day
• Injectable suspension: 15,000 bottles per day

The Betalactam production workshop has been equipped with advanced production lines and automated machinery, including: multidimensional cube mixers, automatic filling and dosing machines, straight-line ultrasonic bottle washers, suspension preparation systems with magnetic stirring technology integrated with load cell scales and homogenizers, and suspension filling machines with peristaltic pump mechanisms, integrated with capping and aluminum sealing machines. Additionally, the workshop features modern auxiliary systems such as AHU, HVAC, and Betalactam waste air/water treatment systems, all designed to meet various cleanliness levels according to GMP-WHO standards.

VINAVETCO has also invested in state-of-the-art fire protection equipment, including automatic smoke and fire detection systems, automatic sprinkler fire suppression systems, high-pressure pumps, and compensating pumps. This fire protection system has been approved and put into operation by the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department of Hung Yen Province, as per Document No. 123/NT-PCCC, dated August 16, 2023.

In strict compliance with Circular No. 07/2012/TT-BNNPTNT dated February 13, 2012, issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, VINAVETCO has established a dedicated Betalactam production workshop to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination between Betalactam-containing and non-Betalactam antibiotic groups.
