Staphylococcal infection caused by Streptococcusspp | 1-6 weeks old. | In the herd, a few swine show symptoms of the disease with the following signs:

Swine erysipelas caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae. | 1-8 months old. | – Limping, swollen joints in both acute and chronic forms with systemic disease. – Due to arthritis, pigs sit in a “dog sitting” position. – Numerous square or diamond-shaped hemorrhagic spots appear on the skin. – Pigs are prone to sudden death. |

Rhinitis caused by Mycoplasma hyorhinis.

3-8 weeks, sometimes up to 12 months of age. | – Limping, sometimes with joint swelling. – Inflammation of the pericardium, pleura, abdominal cavity, and testes, with either acute or chronic forms (lasting over 6 months). – Less than 20% of pigs are affected, with low mortality. |
– In the morning, inject Anflox TTS; in the afternoon, inject Lincosep. – Inject Ceftiofur once a day for 3 days. |
Pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyosynoviae. | Primarily in swine aged 12-14 weeks. | – Lame, either acute or chronic, especially in lean breeds and those with weak legs. – Affects less than 10% of pigs, with low mortality. |
Spectilin, Lincosep, Pneumotic, Leptocin, Tylosin or Tiamulin combined with Anflox T.T.S. |
Atrophic rhinitis caused by Haemophilus parasuis. | 2-12 months old. | Lame, swollen joints with serous membrane inflammation. When suffering from septicemia and in acute cases, pigs lie down frequently and have cyanotic skin. Difficulty breathing, nasal discharge. |
Pneumotic, Ampisep, Ampikana, Vinateri, Sulmix or Trisulfon depot. |
Pleuropneumonia caused by
Actinobacillus suis

Pigs older than 1.5 months. | – Limping, swollen joints with serous membrane inflammation or septicemia. – May develop large abscesses on the rump, filled with white pus. |
In the morning, inject Lincosep; in the afternoon, inject Flodoxin. Alternatively, administer Ceftiofur once a day for 3 days. |
Osteoarthritis caused by
Osteochondrorisvà Osteothrois

From 4 months old and above. | – Limping, chronic but sometimes acute. – Common in fast-growing pigs with a lot of muscle and lean meat. – Lethargic, may walk on their knees. |
There is no specific effective medication. Preventive measures include proper husbandry, and supplementation with Vitamin ADE, B-complex, Vinamix 200, and trace elements like calcium and phosphorus. |
