On the morning of September 27, 2023, at the GMG-WGM-certified veterinary medicine manufacturing plant, VINAVETCO welcomed the DHN Group from China for a visit and business discussions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The DHN delegation was led by Ms. Mindy Wu, International Trade Director, and Ms. Susan Hu, Southeast Asia Business Director, along with other members of the team. They held a meeting to discuss and exchange ideas on collaboration and future development between VINAVETCO and DHN. This visit and business meeting is part of the annual routine between the two companies.<\/p>\n

The DHN delegation worked with VINAVETCO’s leadership team and strategic partners.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

**Guangdong Dahuanong Animal Health Products Co., Ltd (DHN)** is a leading animal health and veterinary medicine manufacturer in China and ranks among the top 100 influential enterprises in the country. DHN’s primary products include high-tech vaccines and animal health care products.<\/p>\n

Since 2009, through market research and international cooperation assessments, VINAVETCO has established and developed a partnership with DHN to register and distribute DHN’s high-quality products that address the epidemiological situation in Vietnam.<\/p>\n

In 2010, DHN became the first foreign company chosen by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam to supply 200,000 doses of vaccine for the prevention of swine fever. This came at a time when the disease was spreading rapidly in the country, and no effective vaccine was available. The vaccination campaign, which covered 19 provinces over two months, was concentrated in the Southeast and Mekong Delta regions, including Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Soc Trang, Tien Giang, and some northern provinces. The successful trial of 200,000 doses led to the Department of Animal Health granting a circulation certificate for the vaccine (JXA1\u2013R strain). This product significantly contributed to controlling the outbreak of swine fever in Vietnam from 2010 to 2015.<\/p>\n

The success of the JXA1\u2013R vaccine marked the beginning of DHN\u2019s effective vaccine products in the Vietnamese market, including SCOCVAC-3, SCOCVAC-4, H5N1 avian influenza vaccines (Re-5 and Re-6 strains), classical swine fever vaccine, and swine plague vaccines.<\/p>\n

After 13 years of collaboration, VINAVETCO is now the exclusive distributor of DHN products for major partners such as CPV, APV, Tan Tien, Mavin Group, and large farms in Vietnam.<\/p>\n

The focus of the partnership and business development between the two companies for the period 2023-2028 will be on expanding the customer base, collaborating on advanced production technology transfer, registering and distributing new products, trading raw materials, feed additives, and other animal health care products.<\/p>\n
